The international street art festival Pflasterspektakel takes place in Linz this weekend. Started as a meeting point for street artists over 20 years ago the event has become one of the largest and most diverse street art festivals in Europe. Around 400 street performers form all over the world found their way to Linz this year.

I’ve been to Burg Klam for the A-HA Farewell-Tour 2010. In fact my task was to shoot the support act Superfeucht. Due to heavy backstage action most of the frames are still on CF-cards. I’ll bring up some more stuff later this weekend.

Here’s the first image of my 2010 Nuss-Schnaps project. Traditionally made of green nuts, sugar, spices and corn schnaps around midsummer. The maturing time for the nut liquor should be something between 8 and 10 weeks! Drop me a line for the recipe!

Back home the weekend was quite busy for me! Due to the flooding of river Danube ‘Linzer Auge’ became a headline once again. After breaking away the observation deck crashed into a pier and had to be rescued!
