Insights: Guard Rail Remote

Wednesday, April 18th, 2007

I posted some stuff from the mountain race Landshaag - St. Martin a couple of days ago. People asked me whether i’m weary of life, or i had an assistant to get the wide-angle view next to the guard rail.

Well, it’s quite easy, i used remotes to cover the wide-angle stuff, and here’s a short manual with the ‘backstage-view’:

The Remote setup
Guard Rail Remote
One camera captures the front view from above, the other one gets the back view from under the guard rail, the speed is around 245 km/h there.
