I’ve been in Munich to shoot the FISA Rowing World Championship 2007, mainly i went there to get some pictures of Austria’s Lightweight Double Sculls with Sebastian Sageder and Juliuz Madecki.

They did well and reached the semi final, so there’s only one boat to beat to get qualified for the Olympics in Beijing 2008!

The Black Wings Linz held their Kick-Off-Press-Conference today. Most of the questions regarded the 5 new players Marco Charpentier, Jean-Francois David, Brad Purdie, Markus Schlacher and Brad Tiley.

President Wilfried Wetzl and Head Coach Jim Boni talked to the press a solid hour, indeed they didn’t tell anything brand-new, so i left early.

SC Schwanenstadt lost at home against Bad Aussee 3:2 yesterday evening. Schwanenstadt coach Andreas Heraf couldn’t believe, his team was leading 2:0 and lost anyway.

I’ve been on a trip to Italy the last few days, actually i found some time to play tabletop football on a one-to-one unit, quite funny, never seen that mini-version before.

After my tough assignments i decided to stop by at the Biennale in Venice to balance the hard work with some cultural experiences, my trip to Venice ended with a cappuccino at San Marco Square with a great view to the Campanile.

The upcoming Hockey season starts these days around Austria with the typical pre-season action. Most of the teams held their medical test this week, and so did the Black Wings Linz. Watch out - the guys are back in town!

As their team photographer i had plenty of work during the last days shooting portraits for player cards, the website and for the sponsors.

SC Schwanenstadt lost 3:2 at home against SC Austria Lustenau during their Red Zac Erste Liga match yesterday evening.

It seems that the second Austrian Bundesliga is still not very popular, only a few fans attended the game and working conditions for the media are really bad.
